CACI takes aboard Navy intelligence work Print
04/16/07 - By David Hubler

CACI International Inc. has won a five-year, $35 million Navy contract that will extend CACI’s work for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Detachment Louisville.

Under the contract, CACI of Arlington, Va., will provide the Navy and several unidentified customers with engineering, technical, operational and administrative services related to intelligence missions.
CACI will perform the work in Louisville, Ky.; Rosslyn, Va.; Washington, D.C.; Port Hueneme, Calif.; San Antonio, Texas; and other locations worldwide.

The company has partnered with NSWC Louisville on a number of initiatives for the Navy and the warfighter. This award, the latest in a series of indefinite-deliver, indefinite-quantity contracts with the Navy client, increases the scope of CACI’s work with NSWC Louisville and expands its engineering and logistics business.

The company also has furthered privatization and outsourcing at NSWC Louisville, performing many core technical functions.

CACI has about 10,000 employees and had annual sales of $1.7 billion in 2006. The company ranks No. 13 on Washington Technology’s 2006 Top 100 list of the largest federal IT contractors.
