CACI International to buy Fairfax consulting firm Print
Washington Business Journal -  May 15, 2007by Neil Adler - Staff Reporter

CACI International Inc. plans to acquire the Institute for Quality Management Inc. for an undisclosed amount.

Arlington-based CACI, an information technology and network services company, did not disclose how much it is paying for the Fairfax-based provider of performance management consulting and operational support services to the intelligence community and homeland security market.

The deal is expected to close during CACI's fourth quarter, which ends June 30.

CACI (NYSE: CAI) said the Institute for Quality Management is expected to generate revenue of about $20 million in 2007. The Fairfax company has 60 employees, all of whom hold top secret or higher clearances. With this acquisition, CACI said it will broaden its presence in the high-growth intelligence and national security sectors.

CACI employs more than 10,000 people worldwide and reported 2006 revenue of nearly $1.8 billion. Last year, it acquired Falls Church-based AlphaInsight Corp. and Gaithersburg-based Information Systems Support Inc.
